Everything a person gives through Paddlit (pledges, tickets, gifts and payments) adds up to one record for them, across all your events. Your owners can see who's new this year, who gave last year but not yet this year, and send everyone a statement of what they gave.
The Donors page: each donor with the events they came to, what they've given, what's still to collect and their card.

One record per person
Paddlit brings a person's giving together when the first and last name match and so does their email address or phone number. The record is worked out from the payments themselves each time, so it always agrees with them, deleted events included.
Pledges from events that finished before you started taking payments through Paddlit count too, shown as collected your own way.
The Donors page
Owners see every donor with how many events they've come to, what they've given, what's still to collect, their latest activity and their card on file. Your biggest supporters come first. Filters:
Everyone.
Gave this year.
New this year.
Gave last year, not this year.
Each filter shows how many people are in it, and you can search by name or email.
A donor's profile
What they've given, how many events, what's still to collect and their card, then their history event by event, and the receipts they've been sent, with the latest a press away from being sent again.
Year-end statements
Choose a year, and every donor who paid something that year and has an email address gets one statement listing each payment, with its date, what it was for, the event, the receipt number and the amount, less any refunds, and the total. For nonprofits whose status is confirmed, it adds the tax-deductible total.
Before anything goes, you see who has no email address. Emails can't be unsent, and every send is recorded with who sent it.
Anonymous donors
Owners still see who gave anonymously, with a note that their name isn't shown to anyone else. In each event's report they're listed as Anonymous, and their own statement marks the gift as given anonymously.
Who sees it
The Donors page is for owners. Managers see each event's own report instead.
A donor's profile with two years of giving: a gift this year, and last year's pledge collected the organisation's own way.
In practice
How it plays out
A returning supporter
For example, Alice pledged $1,000 at last year's gala, before payments were set up, and paid it your own way.
This year she pledged $3,500, charged to her card, and bought two dinner tickets.
Her profile shows two events and everything she's given since last year.
January
An owner opens the Donors page and filters to "Gave last year, not this year" to see who to call.
Then they send last year's statements, and everyone who paid something gets theirs by email.
